St Michael's College Conference Services offers you our facilities for all of your special events and conferences.

Conveniently situated at the eastern end of the University of Toronto's campus, St Michael's buildings include a student centre, traditional dining hall, fully equipped theatre, library, meeting rooms, formal and informal lounges, a tiered council chamber and large assembly hall.

Conference Services hosts a variety of events - from weddings to annual meetings - and works closely with our Catering Department to customize your menu, room set up, and audiovisual requirements to suit your unique needs.

Brennan Hall Lounge

Formerly known as Odette Lounge, this space is versatile and ideal for meetings and receptions. Offering lounge style chairs Brennan Hall Lounge is sure to be a relaxing atmosphere for your receptions. Other seating arrangements can be made ahead of time. Seating for up to 198 people.

Canada Room

The Canada Room, with its majestic oak panels, is the perfect setting for banquets or events.

Capacity: Up to 260 people. Available during the summer months ONLY.

Charbonnel Lounge

Offering comfortable, lounge style seating. Executive settings can also be arranged. Ideal for meetings, luncheons, or banquets. Enjoy our fireplace in the winter months or our walk out onto our courtyard through our large glass doors in the summer months.

Capacity: Seating for up to 100 people.

The Coop

The Coop

Casual dining in the Coop. Stroll out on to the patio for summer barbecues. Ideal for banquets or special gatherings. Perfect for your get togethers. Capacity: Seating for up to 200 people. Available year round.

Father Madden Hall

High ceilings, designer lighting and hardwood floors add to the elegance of this renovated banquet facility in a building originally designed by the Canadian architect, Ernest Cormier in the 1950's. Capacity: Seating for up to 104 people.

Muzzo Family Alumni Hall 100

This theatre has state of the art sound, light, and projection facilities for lectures or large seminar meetings. Capacity: Theatre ground floor seating for 184, and balcony seating for 100.

Also known as The Council Chamber, ideally suited for large seminars and lectures. Theatre seating capacity of 198 people.

Sam Sorbara Auditorium

This large space is ideal for banquets, lectures, weddings, and meetings. A stage is available as well as a P.A. system. Seating for up to 380 people, depending on seating style.

The Canada Room:
SMC Residence Dining Room

The Canada Room offers St Mike’s residents a pleasant setting to enjoy their daily meals. Its oak paneled walls are decorated with historical crests, artifacts and paintings.

Accepting St Michael’s Residence and Non-Resident Students meal plans, cash, credit debit, and USMC Convenience Cards.

Academic Year Hours:

In the first term, Meal Service begins on Sept 4 and finishes on the last day of  final exams in December In the second term, Meal Service begins on January 6 and finishes on the last day of final exams in April.

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am-9:00pm

Friday: 7:30am - 7:00pm

Saturday and Sunday: 10:30am - 7:00pm

Holidays and Reading Week: 10:30am - 7:00pm

Brennan’s Best Coffee Lounge

Located in the Brennan Hall Student Lounge, this kiosk is serves gourmet artisan sandwiches, flatbread sandwiches, hot breakfast sandwiches, specialty beverages, in-house gourmet desserts, parfaits and pastries and much more!

The Kelly Café

The Kelly Café is a bright, vibrant hub of social and academic activity for the St Mike’s community. The Kelly Café offers a selection of hot and cold beverages as well as a variety of snacks including sandwiches, wraps, salads, and desserts.

Faculty & Staff Dining Room

The Faculty Dining Room offers St Michael’s Faculty and Staff a daily self service hot and cold buffet lunch. Wine is also available. The faculty dining room is perfect for a quiet lunch, to meet and enjoy the company of other faculty and staff, or to entertain your guests. Our food service staff are always ready to welcome and assist you in any way they can.
