John M. Kelly Library Celtic Studies Collections
The Kelly Library has one of the best collections on the St. George Campus for undergraduate Celtic studies. The library should be the first-stop for students in the Celtic Studies Program. We purchase the most important current English-language scholarship as well as many materials in Gaelic. Robarts Library has a superior collection of non-English language materials.
Check out some of our most recent purchases on Irish history or Irish literature.
The Kelly Library has an excellent collection of DVDs which support Celtic studies. We purchase documentaries, as well as Irish and Scottish cinema.
Through the University of Toronto Libraries, students have access to a wide range of electronic reference resources on Celtic studies.
Kelly Library librarians have prepared several useful research guides. The Research Guide to Celtic Studies lists the most important encyclopedias and dictionaries with which every student should be familiar. There are also research guides to Irish history and Irish literature.
