The Roy & Ann Foss Research Commons on the ground floor of the Library has 43 workstations (including four workstations with flatbed scanners). View the ground floor map.
All of the Kelly Library computers are reserved for use by current faculty, staff and students who have a UTORid. On each floor of the library there are two workstations which are reserved for use of the online catalogue. Scholars from other institutions needing access to University of Toronto Library electronic resources should consult with library staff.
Print jobs can be sent from any computer workstation in the Library to a University of Toronto to one of several printers:
- a black-and-white printer on the ground floor of the Library or on the second floor near the elevators
Print jobs default to double-sided printing ($0.08 per side); single-sided printing is $0.10 per page
- a colour printer ($0.75 per page for 8 1/2 x 11 and 11 x 14; $1.50 for 11 x 17).
Release and pay for print jobs at the black-and-white printers and then retrieve the print job at the Circulation Desk.
Payment for print jobs is by T-card. Patrons without a T-card can purchase a copycard at the Circulation Desk.
There is a cash-to-card machine for placing money on T-cards on the ground floor of the Library.
There is wireless access available in most areas of the Library. A UTORid is required to connect to the university network. Print jobs can also be sent from a laptop to the printers in the Library (more information). If you have any questions, please contact Richard Carter.
On the ground floor of the Library there are two self-service photocopiers ($0.10 per copy). Payment for print jobs is by T-card. Patrons without a T-card can purchase a copycard at the Circulation Desk.
