Robert Gerard Kearns and Hanny Assaf Hassan received honorary fellowships at the Baccalaureate Mass, St Basil's Church.
Convocation Mass was celebrated by The Most Reverend John A. Boissonneau, Auxiliary Bishop of Toronto and Vicar for Education in the Archdiocese of Toronto. He represented USMC Chancellor, Archbishop Thomas C. Collins.
Sr. Anne Anderson, csj, President and Vice-Chancellor, delivered the address at the ceremony at Convocation Hall.
Dear Members of the Class of 2009,
On behalf of the entire St Michael's community, Congratulations on your graduation! This milestone event in your lives is the culmination of years of study and hard work. You and your friends and family deserve to be very proud of your accomplishment.
We at St Michael's are grateful to you for having chosen our College as your academic home base. Whether you were a commuter student or in residence, in one of our College programs or in a University department program, we are grateful for your involvement in and contributions to the life of the College.
We have worked hard to help you prepare for your future, and we share your excitement as you begin another important chapter in your lives. Please remember St Michael's and keep in touch. Your ongoing involvement with your College as alumni/ae will be most welcome. Good luck and our best wishes from all at St Michael's!
