The Janet Hutchison Medieval Studies Travel and Research Award provides students with the financial means to embark on transformative journeys. Whether conducting research in ancient libraries and archives, or attending academic conferences, this Award encourages students to broaden their horizons and contribute meaningfully to the field by connecting theoretical knowledge with tangible. immersive experiences. One award of $2,000 will be given annually to a student whose application outlines the impact the award will have on their research or scholarship. Students must be in the Medieval Studies program at SMC.
