Description:

On Monday, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m., Dr. Kenneth F. Duggan from the Department of History, Vancouver Island University, will deliver a free public lecture titled “How to Catch a Criminal: Obligations of Pursuit in 13th Century England.” An accomplished medieval historian who specializes in 13th-century English law and jurisprudence, Dr. Duggan is the winner of the 2018 Leonard Boyle Prize, the 2017 Pollard Prize and the 2017 David Yale Prize, among numerous other awards. A reception will follow his talk, which is co-sponsored by the University of St. Michael's College and the Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies.
