Description:

On Monday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m., come to the Shook Common Room to celebrate the launch of a special chapbook of a poem written by assistant professor Máirtín Coilféir, and designed and printed by designer and printer Deborah Barnett, and bound by St. Mike’s Book and Media Studies students. The poem takes up the central theme of craftsmanship, creating a consonance between the piece itself and the masterful production of the volume in high-quality vellum. The book was designed and printed in three letterpress inks and a blind impression in the Kelly Library Print Studio, and finished with a laser-cut and etched cover. David Wilson will be performing traditional Irish music during the event, which will also include light refreshments.
