Teach the course based on syllabus and assignment guidelines provided by the program, mark assignments and tests in a timely fashion, hold one office hour per week. Follow College and University code of conduct and policies.

Course description: The religious culture of the early and mediaeval Celtic Church as manifested in the material and written record, and its significance for contemporary religious movements. Texts studied include the Patrician dossier, early monastic Rules and Liturgies, selected hagiographical, homiletic, devotional and lyric texts.

    Qualifications:

    PhD or equivalent professional experience in the discipline is preferred. University-level teaching experience in this field, with evidence of successful teaching, is preferred. Evidence of active research interests and of ability to mentor students in research projects is required.

    Class schedule: Wednesday 2:00pm – 4:00pm
