Course Number & Course Title: | SMB3329/6329HF The Miracles of Jesus | |||
Course Description: | With the continuous development of modern science, the study of Jesus’ miracles has been subjected to critical discussions ranging from myth to eyewitness testimony. This course we will analyze the various forms of miracle stories in the gospels and study their literary development and theological content, as well as their meaning at different levels of early Christian tradition. Particular consideration will be given to their historical context and content. | |||
Qualifications: | Ph.D. in Theology with expertise in Christian Origins: New Testament and Early Christian Literature. Has the qualification meeting the requirements of TST advanced degree adjunct status. Previous teaching experience in a similar course is strongly preferred. Ability to assume sole responsibility for the preparation and grading of all written assignments, and tests. | |||
Brief Description of Duties: | Preparation and delivery of course content; goals/outcomes; development, administration and marking of assignments, tests and exams; calculation and submission of grades; holding regular office hours; supervising TAs (if any) assigned to the course. | |||
Salary: | $ 8489.50 (includes vacation pay) | |||
