Course Number & Course Title: SMT2242HF Christology
Course Description:

 

Systematic and pastoral approach to christology and soteriology. Emphasis on New Testament christologies, later developments, contemporary interpretations. Study of the impact on christology of such issues as the continuing quest for the historical Jesus, dialogue with other religions, and in particular with Judaism, the challenge of liberation and feminist theologies, and the new cosmology.
Qualifications: Current enrolment in a doctoral program in theological studies (ThD/Phd).
Brief Description of Duties: Grading of assignments and papers. Invigilating and marking exams.  Attending class lectures.
Salary: $46.23 per hour + 4% vacation pay
Estimated Course Enrolment: 12
Number of Hours: 75
Class Schedule: Tuesday, 18:00 – 21:00
Dates of the Appointment: May 5 – June 16, 2020
