Pte. Paul McLaughlin, son of the late J.F. McLaughlin, who has been m.phpng since Zillebeke, is now presumed to have fallen in action. Hope that he was alive was practically given up after inquiries by his brother, Mr. Frank McLaughlin, of the Chartered Trust Company, through the United States Department, showed that the German authorities had no trace of the m.phpng man. Pte. McLaughlin was 20 years of age and went overseas with the 3rd University Overseas Company.
