A reflection on the Stations of the Cross

Shak and I had a wonderful time participating in the Stations of the Cross that was put together this year. When we were asked if we would like to help out with the St. Michael’s Stations, we were intrigued by the idea of three different campus ministries coming together to put on one event.

Shak and I had worked on Stations of the Cross in the past and this year provided an interesting and new perspective. We were told that we had creative freedom to include features we thought would be meaningful and help others to reflect on what the stations meant.

Although we didn’t have a lot of time, we were excited to look at the four stations we were given and try and create something that helped others see the meanings behind those specific stations.

We put together a tableaux and choral reading dramatization and were thankful to have a wonderful group of actors come out and join us for the evening.

There was a great turn out and we really enjoyed the chance to connect with other students from Ryerson and Newman throughout the walk. Overall, it was a great event to be a part of.
