USMC Welcomes John Taylor as its new Student Life Coordinator

We are pleased to welcome John Taylor to the University of St. Michael’s College. He will join the Office of Student Life on December 4th as the new Student Life Coordinator, working to support leadership programs, community outreach, student organizations and commuter life on campus. He will report to Director of Student Life, Oriana Bertucci.

John comes to St. Michael’s with a nine-year career in project and program administration, most recently from Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital – a children’s research and teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Toronto. He has an ardent passion for young adult personal development which has grown through the rewarding experiences of supervising university volunteers in the special needs environment, mentoring young adults with disabilities as part of employment skills development initiatives, coordinating the on-site engineering design projects of students from the University of Toronto Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering Capstone program, and involvement in the Newman Centre. Raised in an East York family of six children, John holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Carleton University, with concentrations in marketing and management.

Welcome, John!
