Sam Sorbara Auditorium in Brennan Hall
Sam Sorbara Auditorium is one of the largest and most versatile spaces at St. Michael’s College. This space is perfect for lectures, formal dinners and conference workshops. Please note that during the school year Sam Sorbara can only be set up in a “classroom” style.
Sam Sorbara Auditorium features a “Smart Classroom” unit in-house which includes:
- 2 Microphones
- Internal Sound System
- Data Projector
- In-Unit Computer
- All Required Cables
The use of this equipment is included in the room fee. Additional AV equipment rentals can also be purchased through our “A La Carte” selection.
AV technicians can be requested through the Conference Services Department. There is a minimum call-in of four hours for all events. AV Technicians are $30/hr.
For large events held in Sam Sorbara Auditorium, we typically recommend plated dinners for more formal functions. For awards banquets we recommend a hot meal option, while for lunches or workshops we recommend a selections of sandwiches and salads. Of course, coffee, tea and dessert are always a must no matter the event!
