Paolo Granata, St. Michael’s Book & Media Studies Professor, will officially present a beautiful copy of La Operina, in a show-and-tell panel exploring the historical significance of Cancelleresca handwriting, in light of the rise of typographic cursive – known as Italic – in the early 16th century.
