Niten Ichi Ryu is the pre-Meiji restoration koryu martial art of classical Japanese sword (kenjutsu) founded by Miyamoto Musashi. Best known as a school that uses two swords, the introductory curriculum focuses on basics of movement, and the long sword (tachi). Prospective students should wear clothing that allows ease of movement in class.
