Thursday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. EST, the Irish Embassy in Canada will virtually host St. Michael’s Interim Principal Dr. Mark McGowan for a lecture titled “In Search of the 1490: Tracking the Famine Migrants from Strokestown to Canada in 1847.” The event will take place live on the embassy’s Youtube channel.
