Council of Senate: University of St. Michael’s College Continuing Education Division
The Council of Senate serves as an advisory body to the University of St. Michael’s College Continuing Education Division. Its primary responsibility is to review programs and courses offered by Continuing Education and to recommend them for approval by the Senate. The Council is also responsible for recommending the awarding of certificates or credentials to candidates who have completed approved programs.
In addition to its academic oversight, the Council fulfills generative and strategic responsibilities by identifying and discussing new and innovative programs and delivery models aligned with the mission of the Division and the University, and with the goal of renewing and expanding Continuing Education.
