The Council of Senate is an advisory body for the Continuing Education Division.
The Council of Senate serves as an advisory body for the Division. Its primary responsibility is reviewing programs and courses of Continuing Education and recommending them for approval to the Senate. It is also responsible for recommending to the Senate the awarding of certificates or credentials to candidates who complete the approved programs. The Council also fulfills generative and strategic responsibilities by identifying and discussion new and innovative programs and delivery models aligned with the mission of the Division and the University and the goal of renewing and expanding the Division.
