But what are their social, cultural, political, and economic impacts? What consequences do they have for how we think, feel, socialize, work, play, and understand ourselves? Students in this course will explore, examine, and debate these questions with reference to their everyday experiences and current examples.

    MA required. In accordance with the CUPE 3902 Unit 4 Collective Agreement, Article 15.07, preference in hiring will be given to graduate students whose disciplinary study and research specializations align closely with the focus of this course. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.

    Salary: $47.63 per hour + 4% vacation pay
    Estimated course enrolment: 50 students
    Size of appointment: 25 hours
    Class schedule: Tuesday and Thursday 1-3.
    Delivery mode: In-person (applicants must be available to attend all classes).
    Dates of appointment: June 30, 2025 – August 31, 2025.
