Students who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons may be eligible for financial assistance from their provincial or territorial governments. Assignment CalculatorUTSC (University of Toronto Scarborough) offers a useful tri-campus tool called the Assignment Calculator to help you break down your assignment or project into manageable steps and direct you to useful guides and services (particularly the Library and Writing Centres). If you log in and supply an email address, it will also email you a reminder one week before the assignment is due. The calculator is for planning purposes only. It is a tool for advisors and students to estimate GPA based on students’ anticipated performance. GPA CalculatorThe GPA Calculator is a tool that allows U of T students to calculate and predict their Cumulative, Sessional and Annual GPAs. TCardThe TCard is the official University of Toronto student ID card, which provides access to services and facilities such as Blackboard, libraries, athletic facilities, exams, meal plans, printing services, and more. Scholarships and AwardsCampuses, faculties and colleges offer both admission and in-course scholarships to their outstanding students. Several colleges also offer residence scholarships. Qualified students will be automatically considered for most of these scholarships. Others will require application. Take time to explore the many awards and scholarships available – and apply! University of Toronto Financial Aid (UTAPS)The UTAPS program fills the financial gap for full-time students who receive the maximum amount of government financial aid available, but whose funding doesn’t cover all university costs. Financial AidThis U of T page contains links and information concerning OSAP, UTAPS, work-study, and other financial resources and programs for students. Undergraduate Grant ApplicationThe U of T Grant assistance is available for undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need. It is expected that students exhaust all financial resources (e.g. OSAP or other government aid, family assistance, savings, etc.) prior to requesting a grant or bursary. Needs-based grants and bursaries do not need to be repaid. Academic CalendarThe Academic Calendar is a comprehensive publication that outlines the rules, regulations, degree requirements, programs and courses for the academic year. Program EnrolmentFaculty of Arts & Science students are required to enrol in programs of study at the end of the session in which they complete their fourth full-course equivalent. This resource directs you to information on how to enrol in programs, program listings, and program codes and contacts. Petitions GuideThe Petitions Guide has been prepared to help you understand petitions and appeals, the petitions process, the Faculty of Arts & Science’s expectations of you, and the reasoning behind the answers students get in response to their different requests. Verification of Student Illness or Injury Form“The Verification of Student Illness or Injury” is the official University of Toronto form for all students who are requesting special academic consideration based on illness or injury. Transfer Credit and Letter of PermissionThe Transfer Credit Office in the Faculty of Arts and Science processes requests for transfer credit on admission and post admission. The Office also processes requests for Letters of Permission and transfer credit for outgoing exchange students. Graduation Eligibility and Confirmation LettersStudents can request a letter from the Faculty of Arts & Science confirming your intent to graduate, your eligibility to graduate, or your graduation. ExaminationsInformation concerning U of T examinations, with links to timetables, rules of conduct, and tips for both exam preparation and avoiding exam offences. Exam Copy or Viewing RequestStudents may request photocopies or a free supervised viewing of Arts and Science faculty final examinations written on the St. George campus within the last six months. ACORNACORN is U of T’s student information service, and a hub for everything you need to manage your student life including: course enrolment, program enrolment, maintaining personal information, viewing your fees and academic history, ordering transcripts, and submitting grant applications.
