Building a Commuter Community on Campus.
With over 4000 students commuting to campus, St. Michael’s College provides support and resources specifically for off-campus students! On top of the resources on campus available to all students, the Commuter Lounge overseen by the Commuter Coordinators, is a space reserved for commuter students.

The Commuter Lounge provides space for students to socialize and study. It offers various amenities and services for community building.
The lounge is located on the first floor of Brennan Hall in room 115a.

Every week, commuters can stop by the lounge and enjoy delicious and free grilled cheese sandwich provided by the coordinators!

Lounge Amenities
The Lounge provides commuters with access to a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, cutlery, dishes, coffee, teas, and various snacks.
The Lounge’s television has access to Disney+, Spotify, and streaming with an HDMI cable.
In addition to outlets, you can leave your phone or small device in the lockable charging station.

Want to eat on Campus in the Dining Hall?
The Canada Room is open to all SMC students to enjoy! A Commuter student can purchase a meal plan for the Canada Room by visiting the front desk and requesting to have a commuter meal plan loaded to their t-card.
