Dear Parents/Guardians of Incoming SMC Residents,
Below is a 20-minute video presentation that our Dean of Students, Duane Rendle, traditionally gives to parents on Move-in Day. The session is titled “How to Support Your Student While at University” and provides advice and guidance on how to navigate some of the changes parents can expect to encounter while their child is attending university. Since many parents are not able to accompany their student to campus on move-in day, this year, we decided to pre-record the presentation so that all parents can watch it at their convenience. Thanks in advance for choosing to send your student to the SMC Residence this year!
